A bit about us…

CBC Therapeutic Horseback Riding Academy, is a family ran and operated program. The Academy instructors meet riders and horses at their current experience level and focus on the goals of each individual student to help ensure that they reach them. Enrolling in the Academy will enhance students' riding and horsemanship skills through group lessons, private lessons, and horsemanship classes. CBC instructors are trained and certified to work with individuals from all walks of life.

No experience is required to join the Academy.
Our students range from beginner to advanced and include children and adults.
Whether you just want to come and learn about horses and simply just enjoying being around them, or have the dream of competing, the Academy can support you in your human-horse journey.
Our Facilities and Environment:

CBC Equine is Located at Brookside Equestrian Park in Elk Grove, CA. The Facility provides a covered barn, a covered arena, and 8 outdoor arenas. Sessions will be held rain or shine! In the event of Bad weather, we have plenty of tools in the barn as well as a classroom to where we can still hold an educational session.

CBC Provides a very fun, and safe family environment for the entire family and friends to enjoy. We have a waiting area for our riders to sit prior to the start of their lesson. This area is accompanied by our little therapy animals for your enjoyment! Family members of the participants are also welcome to wait in this area while the student is riding, or in our classroom that has a variety of toys and books for entertainment!.

Who do We Serve?
CBC can provide services to those who are insterested in just taking general horseback riding lessons, those who need additional support with their mental health, at risk youth, and anyone looking to get involved in something new! There is no experience required to join the academy. The Minnimum age requirement is 4. We teach kids, teens, and adults from beginner to advance!
Days of Operation:

Monday-Thursday, and Saturday and Sunday. The Academy is closed on Fridays.
